I joined ICIMOD in 2012 as a Remote Sensing Database Specialist for the Mountain Environment Regional Information System (MENRIS) Programme. My current role as the GIT lead is to provide direction, instructions and guidance for developing GIT strategies to achieve ICIMOD’s goals. I am involved in the software development cycle, design and development of spatial/non-spatial interactive applications, and metadata management. I also conduct capacity building and training activities.
