My primary role at ICIMOD is to contribute to knowledge generation in the field of air pollution and atmospheric sciences relevant to the HKH region. However, it is also equally critical to ensure that evidence generated is put to use by relevant stakeholders. To achieve this goal, I work towards building the capacity of decision makers and the general public. Some problems require a collaborative effort, especially problems related to air pollution mitigation. Thus, I work to create an enabling environment for local, national, regional and global scale collaboration.
